3 Gardens you must Visit in East-Cornwall

We continue our series of Cornish adventures by focusing on the east of our beautiful county. Throughout this blog, we explore The Great Gardens within this region, ending with our recommendation on where to stay in this area – a serene haven to call home during your visit.

As well as the diverse Great Gardens, east Cornwall is home to some of the most magnificent gems in our region, from the breathtaking harbour of Fowey to the cobbled-streets of historic Charlestown and mind-blowing golden-sandy beaches – gaining this region the nickname ‘Cornish Riviera’.

So without further ado, here are the three gardens to add to your bucket-list when visiting east Cornwall:

1. Antony Woodland Gardens

Antony Woodland Garden is Cornwall’s best-kept 100 acre secret, with unspoilt woodland walks sweeping down to the Lynher estuary, this beautiful garden is just a ferry ride away from Plymouth but will ensure the feeling of being a million miles away. The dog-friendly garden is home to an array of modern sculptures from incredible international artists, as well as an International Collection of Camellias, Magnolias, Rhododendrons, Azaleas and Hydrangeas; all of which are a magnificent sight to behold. Antony Woodland Garden is the perfect place to find your peace whilst marvelling at all Mother Nature has to offer.

2. The Eden Project
